User-Generated Content Policy
Effective Date: 1 January 2025
Contact: admin@godinterest.com
1. Purpose
This policy explains the status, responsibility, and handling of user-generated content published on Godinterest during its operation as a multi-user platform.
2. Historical Nature of the Platform
For many years, Godinterest operated as an open publishing platform allowing independent users to:
Create accounts;
Upload text, images, graphics, and links;
Publish content without prior editorial approval;
Manage and control their own submissions.
The Platform functioned as a hosting intermediary and did not commission or create the majority of content published during that period.
3. Responsibility of Contributors
At the time of registration and content submission, users represented and warranted that:
They owned or had permission to use all uploaded materials;
Their content did not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
They accepted full responsibility for their submissions;
They agreed to indemnify and hold the Platform harmless from claims arising from their content.
Godinterest relied on those representations in good faith.
Accordingly, responsibility for user-generated content rests with the original contributor.
4. Account Inactivity and Historical Contributors
Due to the age of the Platform:
Many historical contributor accounts are inactive, deleted, or no longer contactable.
Contact information associated with historic accounts may no longer be valid.
It is not feasible to locate or engage every former contributor.
Godinterest does not guarantee the ability to contact historic users in relation to legacy content.
5. Review and Removal of User Content
Where a concern or complaint is raised regarding user-generated content:
Godinterest may review the content.
Godinterest may attempt to contact the contributor where feasible.
If a contributor cannot be contacted, does not respond, or the account is inactive, the content may be removed.
Godinterest reserves the absolute discretion to remove user-generated content:
Without prior notice;
Without obtaining clarification from the contributor;
Without conducting a full investigation;
Where administrative capacity does not permit extended review.
The Platform’s primary remedy is removal.
6. No Retrospective Investigations
Godinterest does not:
Conduct retrospective licensing audits for historic uploads;
Reconstruct permission records from many years ago;
Undertake archival investigations into historic submissions.
The continued presence of legacy content does not constitute confirmation that historical documentation is available.
7. Limited Administrative Capacity
Godinterest operates as a non-profit, limited-resource platform.
Accordingly:
The Platform does not provide dispute resolution or mediation services;
The Platform does not guarantee individual responses to all correspondence;
The Platform may remove content conservatively to minimise legal exposure;
Extended legal analysis of historic posts is not undertaken.
Removal decisions may be made solely to reduce risk.
8. No Assumption of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Godinterest does not assume liability for independently uploaded user content;
The Platform is not responsible for representations made by contributors;
The existence of user-generated content does not create endorsement, adoption, or ownership by the Platform.
Nothing in this policy excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Current Publishing Model
From 1 January 2025 onward, publishing access is restricted to a limited number of contributors under revised governance standards.
This change does not create retroactive responsibility for historical user submissions.
10. Contact
All concerns relating to user-generated content must be submitted in writing to:
