1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the standards of conduct required when accessing or interacting with Godinterest.
Godinterest is a Christian-focused publication distributed via Substack and maintained by volunteers.
Access to the Platform is conditional upon compliance with this policy.
2. Lawful Use
Users must engage with the Platform only for lawful purposes.
You may not use the Platform to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
Publish or submit content you do not have the right to use
Commit fraud or misrepresentation
Harass, threaten, or intimidate others
3. Prohibited Content
Users must not upload, publish, submit, or transmit content that:
Is defamatory or knowingly false
Is unlawful, obscene, or abusive
Promotes violence or criminal conduct
Infringes intellectual property rights
Violates privacy or personal data rights
Constitutes spam, unsolicited promotion, or commercial exploitation
Is submitted for the purpose of speculative legal, financial, or enforcement claims
Godinterest reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether content breaches this policy.
4. Respect for Platform Purpose
Godinterest is a Christian-focused publication.
While respectful discussion may be permitted where enabled, users may not:
Deliberately disrupt or undermine the Platform’s purpose
Post content designed to provoke hostility or division
Engage in targeted harassment of contributors or readers
5. No Automated Abuse
Users may not:
Use automated systems to scrape, harvest, or extract content
Submit bulk, automated, or bad-faith legal claims
Attempt to overwhelm the Platform with repeated or abusive communications
6. Enforcement and Removal
Godinterest reserves the right to:
Remove content without notice
Restrict or disable access
Suspend or terminate user interaction where applicable
Limit access to Platform features
Enforcement decisions may be made:
Without prior warning
Without detailed explanation
Without engaging in dispute resolution
Where administrative capacity does not permit extended review
All enforcement is discretionary and removal-based.
7. Historical Content
This policy applies to both current publications and historical content originating from earlier versions of the Platform.
Where legacy material is identified as breaching acceptable standards, it may be removed regardless of when it was originally published.
8. No Obligation to Monitor
Godinterest does not actively monitor all content and is not obligated to do so.
The Platform may act upon complaints, reports, or internal review at its discretion.
9. Limited Administrative Capacity
Godinterest operates as a non-profit platform with limited resources.
Accordingly:
No mediation services are provided
No guarantee of individual responses is made
Not all communications will receive a reply
Enforcement decisions are final
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated at any time.
Continued access to or interaction with the Platform constitutes acceptance of the current version.
