The age-old battle of flesh and spirit. Without Him, we can’t win!

Thank you, Eric — absolutely.

That tension between flesh and spirit is as real today as it has ever been. And you’re right — on our own, it’s a battle we’re not designed to win. It’s only through Him that strength, clarity, and victory become possible.

Grateful for your insight and for standing firm in that truth.

Absolutely, this hits at the core of it all.

The struggle between flesh and spirit isn’t new, but it’s deeply personal every single day. On our own, we might fight hard, but we’re fighting a battle we were never meant to win alone. Strength doesn’t come from trying harder, it comes from surrendering deeper.

With Him, the battle isn’t about perfection, it’s about transformation.

You hit home with the word surrender! It took me decades to truly understand what that really looks like. I now realize that all work is good work, regardless of how you choose to feel about it. It requires absolute trust in Him (surrendering). Doing so gives you access to the fruit and the abundance thereof.

Thank you, Eric — that’s a powerful reflection.

Surrender is one of those words that sounds simple, but takes a lifetime to truly understand. What you’ve described — that shift into trust, into seeing all work as meaningful — that’s where something deeper begins to unfold.

When control is released, perspective changes. And like you said, it opens the door to fruit, to abundance, and to a peace that isn’t dependent on circumstance.

Grateful you shared that — it will resonate with more people than you know.
